FX Protect Heavy Cut is an efficient, water-based cutting compound. Thanks to the latest technologies, compounds from FX Protect are distinguished by very high efficiency. The compound quickly removes P1200-P1500 sanding marks. Another characteristic feature of the Heavy Cut is that it is a low-dusting compound. Which significantly improves the comfort of work. Abrasive particles of the Heavy Cut break down very effectively. Therefore, we can quickly achieve a high level of scratch removal and an excellent finish on hard and medium paints. FX Protect Heavy Cut is a perfect product for removing deep scratches. But also, we find it brilliant as a one-step compound.

How to use FX Protect Heavy Cut Scratch Remover?

Depending on the hardness of the paint, we recommend using FX Protect cutting compound with different polishing pads.  F X Protect Heavy cut pad or PRS Expert Green Pad for hard paintwork, and for medium-hard paints, we recommend a  F X Protect medium pad or PRS Expert One Step polishing pad..

Apply a few drops of the compound to the polishing pad.  Spread the cutting compound over an area of ​​approximately 16×16″ at a slow speed (rotary machine about 800RPM, Dual Action 1-2 gear)
Increase the speed of the machine (rotary 1200-1500RPM, Dual Action 4-5 gear) and work with light pressure
Polish until the compound becomes transparent.
To check the effect of work, wipe the surfaces with a clean, dry microfiber. And then, wipe off the surfaces with a panel wipe liquid  and microfibre cloth.

Cutting compound quickly removes P2000 sanding marks. Another characteristic feature of the Heavy Cut is that it is a low-dusting compound. Which significantly improves the comfort of work. Abrasive particles of the Heavy Cut break down very effectively. Therefore, we can quickly achieve a high level of scratch removal and an excellent finish on medium and soft paints. This medium compound is a perfect product for removing moderate scratches and can be used as a finishing or one-step compound.
